Joey O’Connor is an educator, poet, and author with a Master of Arts from Columbia University.
Over the last decade, he has written alongside students in New York City and drawn inspiration from his role as a loving “Guncle.”
Joey’s achievements include the prestigious “Best and Brightest” teaching award and publications in leading orgs like The Pulitzer Center and National Council of Teachers of English.
His poetry has appeared in Gertrude Press and Gandy Dancer, among other journals.
He currently lives in Miami, Florida.
